We have been having such great weather lately. The snow is almost completely gone. I can actually see the lavender plants! It really feels like spring and that is making me very happy. I know there is still lots of time for winter weather but for now I am soaking up some sunshine.

Read more →Race day is less than 9 weeks away...Yikes! Ken and I are going to run in The Shamrock Run in Portland OR again this year. Last year I definitely “caught the race Bug”. So many of my family participated and the overall energy was amazing. I absolutely loved hearing all the Celtic musicians playing their beautiful music on the sidewalks as I was running past. It really helped to keep you going. This was my first ever race and it sure was an exciting one. They also give you a Widmer Beer and some really great Smoked Salmon Chowder...

Read more →We had a wonderful time visiting with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. Too much food of course. Everyone makes such incredible dishes. I am so thankful for the family I have. We always have so much fun together. I love it now that my oldest daughter is like me and finds a fun new recipe and isn't afraid to try it on Thanksgiving Day! She made Pumpkin Spice Latte in the Slow Cooker.It was delicious and filled the kitchen with that perfect pie in the oven aroma. The recipe is on Pinterest so I am definitely going to be pinning...

Read more →Our 8th annual Lavender Harvest Days event is fast approaching. Save the Date July 10th-12th. We are also celebrating our 15th year in business. Wow! I can hardly believe that. I need to find some pictures of when we started. This was just a bare piece of pasture. Now everything is full and lush. Even the weeds. This is when I kinda go into panic mode.
